Win Money For Your School or Sports Organization!
Suggestions for Creating Winning Photos and Videos of Scoreboards:
- Light it up! Don't send us pictures of your scoreboard with the power off!
- Set the scores and other displays to something realistic. Don't make it 88 to 88 with 88 minutes left in the period!
- Fill the frame with the scoreboard. We know you're proud of your stadium, but we're just as proud of our scoreboard! Get in there close to the scoreboard so we can really see it!
- Watch for distractions in the background. A messy dumpster or a beat up old equipment truck can ruin a picture of a super-model; it's not attractive in a scoreboard photo either!
- We like people. Show us your team! Show us your coaches! Show us your cheerleaders! Show us some in-game action! But don't forget to make the scoreboard prominent.
- Tell us a story. If you send a video, tell us the story on camera; for a picture, send it as a part of the upload form. Let us know about your experience with scoreboards.net or something special about your scoreboard.
- Keep it simple. Try to keep your video less than two minutes long.
Rules and Disclaimers:
- You have to upload your videos and photos through our form (see the link below). Please don't send us entries via e-mail. If you have a problem with the form, you may send an e-mail describing the problem or call us to let us know.
- Photo files must not exceed 2 MB. Video files must not exceed 10 MB. (actually 2-3 min)
- Protect your privacy. Don't give out your contact information in your video (or photo). If you have an official position with a school or other organization, tell us about that. But if you are a parent or volunteer without an official position, it would be best to stick with your first name only. Example: "I'm Ted with the Springfield Little League in Springfield, Nevada...."
- Give us complete contact information on the upload form. We will not sell or distribute this information to anyone outside of our organization. We just need to be able to get in touch with you if you win.
- Whatever you send us becomes the property of scoreboards.net whether we publish it or not.
- We may edit any materials you send us prior to publishing. For instance, we may re-size or crop photos and videos to match our page layout. We may edit out portions of a video that we feel are unnecessary.
- You can enter as many times as you like. If you have several of our scoreboards, you may win several times. But you must enter each photo and each video separately.
